Mexico recognized as an innovative school

An organization combatting the high drop-out rate of Latin-American students says Christel House Mexico is one of Latin-America’s Innovative Schools in developing a successful solution to the problem. The Graduate XXI Initiative from the Inter-American Development Bank cites the Christel House holistic model and Christel House’s embrace of technology in the classroom as reasons for the distinction. Christel House Mexico’s “rigorous academic program that promotes the development of skills with an emphasis on English, computation, creativity development and character development” are also showcased in the report. 100% of Christel House students passed 9th grade high school qualifying exams. “It’s an honor for Christel House Mexico to be recognized and included in this study,” says Javier Alarcón Benet, Executive Director, Christel House Mexico. “It means we are in the state of the art for education models in Mexico.”
